Touring Exhibits

The Museum of Science touring exhibit program has a history of creating dynamic, accessible, and popular touring exhibits. For the past 40 years, we have been creating exhibits guided by Universal Design for Learning principles, crafting experiences that employ multimodal learning approaches to increase engagement across audience segments.

Explore our dynamic, accessible, and popular touring exhibits.

Created by the Museum of Science, Boston and Pixar Animation Studios, The Science Behind Pixar explores the science and technology of some of the most beloved animated films and their characters.

From the pyramids of Giza and the churches of Venice, to the Moai of Rapa Nui and the Cliff Palace of Mesa Verde, join us on an immersive journey to heritage sites facing unprecedented challenges in a changing climate.

Perception Playground reveals the science (and the fun!) behind the brain’s seemingly endless ability to turn reality on its head.

Two exhibits, one infrastructure.

Flexible Infrastructure Program

Using our turnkey immersive infrastructure, your institution gains access to two distinct experiences for one rental fee.  Our model lowers shipping and installation costs, minimizes the downtime between exhibitions, and results in less gallery closure time during peak seasons.

We travel all the truss, walls, custom lighting, AV equipment, and exhibit components to install these experiences. The exhibits use the same basic wall, truss, and AV system, and transform through digital features, interactives, components, and graphic treatments.
