Extend your curriculum beyond the classroom! Students will interact with local scientists and researchers, participate in a keynote address, and consider a world of STEM career possibilities.  

Capacity: 50 students per school per event.

Chemistry In Action

Celebrate National Chemistry Week at the Museum of Science! Explore the chemistry of our everyday lives. This event will include exciting demonstrations at our Science Live Stage, as well as hands-on activities throughout the Museum.

HS-PS2-6. Communicate scientific and technical information about the molecular-level structures of polymers, ionic compounds, acids and bases, and metals to justify why these are useful in the functioning of designed materials.

As the Museum of Science rounds out our Year of the Earthshot, discover the countless “Green Careers” within STEM as we aim to sustain a greener planet. Learn about the various ways that professionals are sharing their background of sustainable sciences.
