All visitors (except Museum members) must reserve a timed ticket for Exhibit Halls in advance of your visit. This children under the age of 3. Tickets can be purchased via mos.org, 24 hours a day or by phone 617-723-2500 daily between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Membership is a great way to enjoy the Museum all year long and can pay for itself with just ONE visit. Members receive free Exhibit Halls admission for a year, free and discounted tickets to some of our most popular attractions, invitations to members-only events, and discounts in the Museum garage, café, and store.
All active US service members are welcome free of charge upon showing their Geneva Conventions Common Access Card (CAC). You must bring your ticket confirmation as well as your Military ID in order to enter the Museum.
On November 11, we are pleased to offer veterans complimentary admission to our Exhibit Halls. Please call us in advance to make your reservation by phone> Upon arrival, please present your DD Form 2 or DD214 along with your timed tickets at the Exhibit Halls entrance.
The Museum of Science participates in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) reciprocal program and Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) passport program. Our members can use their membership card for free or discounted admission to nearly 500 zoos, aquariums and science centers worldwide. In addition, members of institutions that participate in these reciprocity programs can visit us for free! For more information on the Reciprocal Admission program visit mos.org/reciprocity. If you are a member of a participating institution and would like to reserve Exhibit Halls tickets, please call 617-723-2500. Timed tickets are currently required for all visitors.

The Museum of Science is pleased to participate in the Card to Culture and Museums For All programs by extending discounts to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare health plan insurance cardholders.
EBT: EBT cardholders up to 4 free Exhibit Halls admissions per day, with valid MA photo ID all year long. Card to Culture is a collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services' Department of Transitional Assistance. Learn more.
The Museum is also a member of Museums For All. EBT cardholders from states outside of Massachusetts can receive 4 free Exhibit Halls admission per day with a state issued photo id. Museums for All is the Institute of Museum and Library Services’ (IMLS) access program.
WIC: WIC cardholders up to 4 free Exhibit Halls admissions, with valid MA photo ID all year long. Card to Culture is a collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Public Health's MassWIC. Learn more.
ConnectorCare: ConnectorCare healthplan insurance cardholders receive free Exhibit Halls admission for themselves. All cardholders must show their card at entry for access. Many libraries offer individuals passes for free or discounted Exhibit Halls admission. You need to reserve a pass for the date you want to visit and then pick it up at your local library or download it digitally from the library website. Currently, we request that you reserve a timed ticket before your visit to ensure we are not at capacity when you arrive. Contact your local library for more details!
