The Bride!

Visionary filmmaker Maggie Gyllenhaal reimagines the Frankenstein legend in this bold, electrifying epic set in 1930s Chicago built for the scale and spectacle on the IMAX® Dome screen at the Museum of Science, Boston.

The Bride! (2026)

A lonely Frankenstein (Christian Bale) enlists pioneering scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create him a companion for him. The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Jesse Buckley) is born. What begins as an act of creation spirals into something far more dangerous: murder, possession, a radical cultural uprising, and a combustible outlaw romance that defies expectation.

Blending gothic spectacle with sweeping emotion and striking visual design, The Bride! is a genre-bending cinematic experience made for IMAX®. See this daring new vision of a classic myth unfold on the Museum’s giant screen where every moment feels larger than life.

A Warner Bros. Pictures release. Written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.
