Ashish Jha, MD, MPH

Ashish Jha, MD, MPH is the former Dean of the Brown University School of Public Health. A long-time leader on pandemic preparedness and response, from directing groundbreaking research on Ebola to serving on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response, he has led national and international analysis of key issues and advised local and federal policy makers around the world. Before joining the Brown University School of Public Health, Dr. Jha was a professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School. He was the faculty director of the Harvard Global Health Institute from 2014 until 2020 and has held other various leadership roles at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Now Dr. Jha is leading an initiative that aims to bolster the nation’s defenses against emerging pandemics and biological threats.

Cheryl Clark, MD, ScD

Cheryl Clark, MD, ScD is the Executive Director and Senior Vice President of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers’ Institute for Health Equity Research, Evaluation & Policy (IHE). Dr. Clark is a physician of Hospital Medicine and a Social Epidemiologist with a research focus on social determinants of health and health care utilization in diverse populations, including a focus on women’s health in areas of preventive care for cancer and cardiovascular disease prevention, implementation science and community-based participatory research.

Ofer Levy MD, PhD

Ofer Levy MD, PhD

Dr. Ofer Levy is a Professor at Harvard Medical School and a principal investigator, infectious diseases physician, and Director of the Precision Vaccines Program in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. He trained at Yale College and earned his MD/PhD at New York University School of Medicine, followed by pediatric residency and fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Levy’s research focuses on modeling human immune responses to accelerate development of vaccines optimized for vulnerable populations, including infants and older adults, using advanced in vitro systems and systems biology approaches. He leads multiple NIH/NIAID- and CEPI-funded studies and works on vaccines targeting SARS-CoV-2, influenza, HIV, RSV, pertussis, and opioid overdose. Dr. Levy serves on the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee and is a frequent speaker and media contributor.
