Disability Inclusion Advocate and Media Consultant

Becky Jackson Curran is a dedicated advocate for disability inclusion, public speaker, and media consultant. Born with achondroplasia—the most common form of dwarfism—she has built her career around advancing authentic representation of people with disabilities in media and society.

Dr. Mona Minkara

Assistant Professor of Bioengineering, Northeastern University

Mona Minkara, PhD, is a blind scientist, advocate, and travel vlogger who serves as an assistant professor of bioengineering. She lives by the belief that “vision is more than sight,” and works to make science more accessible and inclusive for all.

Dr. Lisa I. Iezzoni, MD, MSc

Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School

Dr. Lisa Iezzoni is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. A pioneer in disability health disparities research, she has spent over 30 years studying inequities in healthcare access and outcomes for people with disabilities.
