The Museum of Science, Boston and the New England Aquarium are co-hosting a Youth Climate Summit, convening up to 100 motivated high school students for two days of climate science programming and action across multiple engaging session formats.Join us for presentations, hands-on workshops, and activities hosted by a diverse group of young climate leaders! Attendees will explore environmental solutions, network and socialize with other dedicated students from Massachusetts, and develop a climate action plan to take back to their community. For more information, the Summit’s schedule-at-a-glance can be found below.Please note: We strongly recommend groups register in teams of 4-6 students, and all registered groups must include an adult chaperone. Each youth attendee will receive a $100 stipend for their participation. Registration closes Monday, October 7 or when registration is full.More About the EventThis event is modeled after the Youth Climate Summit started by The Wild Center, a science museum in upstate New York. The Wild Center’s Youth Climate Program works globally to convene and empower young people to implement climate action plans in their schools and communities through Youth Climate Summits. Our event will join a network of over 60 sites around the world that have hosted a Youth Climate Summit inspired by this model. We are part of a powerful network of young people around the world who are learning about climate change and implementing climate action plans.
