Harnessing Hydrogen for a Just Transition

Apply to participate in our interactive forum exploring hydrogen technologies and emerging questions about using hydrogen as a fuel.

From the Center for the Environment.
Co-Presented by the Museum of Science, Boston and the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

Hydrogen, as a power source, could soon be coming to communities across the US to support a clean energy transition. Burning it does not produce long-lived greenhouse gases (unlike natural gas, gasoline, coal and oil), but what could a hydrogen energy infrastructure look like and where will it go? What could it mean for local communities, what are “Community Benefit Plans,” and why are they important?

Add your voice and apply to participate in our interactive forum! We will explore hydrogen technologies and emerging economic, climate, and environmental justice questions associated with using hydrogen as a fuel. We’ll also discuss new methods to ensure that the benefits of federally funded hydrogen projects flow to communities, and more.  Chosen participants will receive a $100 electronic gift card approximately one month following the event.

Apply for this unique opportunity by Wednesday, March 27. We have limited capacity; the Museum of Science will confirm all accepted applications via email by Friday, March 29. Lunch will be provided.
