About the Author

Born in Egypt with UK, Canadian, and US citizenships, Emlyn illuminates the Anthropocene which is shorthand for humanity’s disruption of the world’s environments and climates. He is an Honorary Professor in the Evolutionary Studies Institute at South Africa’s University of the Witwatersrand and a Director Emeritus of Canada’s Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology. He was the 50th anniversary board chair for the Geological Association of Canada and in 2007 received a Humanitarian of the Year Award from the American Conference on Diversity.
