Out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with public health guidance, the Museum will not be offering Traveling Programs for the remainder of calendar year 2020. The Museum will make a decision about Traveling Programs reservations for January – June 2021 later this calendar year. The Museum of Science is committed to supporting students and educators. Resources can be found at MOS at Home. More to come soon!

Available to Schools Only

Students explore the difference between weather and climate. Through demonstrations, they learn how the tilt of the Earth and the albedo effect impact climate in different parts of the world. We look at the hydrosphere and atmosphere and how they interact by pressurizing a tank to create enough wind to power a cannon, and see a cloud form before their eyes.
