Traveling Programs are temporarily unavailable. Out of an abundance of caution and in accordance with public health guidance, the Museum will not be offering Traveling Programs for the remainder of calendar year 2020. The Museum will make a decision about Traveling Programs reservations for January – June 2021 later this calendar year. The Museum of Science is committed to supporting students and educators. Our first-ever program for preschool children takes them to an imaginary puppet zoo where they learn what is needed to make a shadow, and change its shape and size. They explore this in an exploratory activity using shadow wands, and then try to engineer shady areas to protect a pride of lions from the hot sun.
