Women in Astronomy

Part of Charles Hayden Planetarium: Celebrating 60 Years

Throughout history, countless women have held integral roles in the development of astronomy and space exploration, but few have been properly recognized for their work. Join our Planetarium educators as they explore the universe through the discoveries and contributions of women in astronomy and NASA.

This program is free thanks to the generosity of the Lowell Institute.

Seating is general admission, so we encourage you to arrive early to guarantee your party is seated together. Doors to the theater will open 10 minutes prior to the start time. Late seating will be accommodated when possible.

For information about accessibility in the Museum: mos.org/accessibility. For questions or accommodation requests: 617-589-3102, accessibility@mos.org. Please request ASL interpreters at least two weeks in advance.
