Boston Marathon® Days

Do you like to run? Know someone who does? Or do you just like to learn about the science behind endurance running and training? Visit us and find out what it takes to train for a long-distance race like the Boston Marathon®. Learn more about human (and other animal) locomotion and how the Boston Athletic Association can track over 25,000 runners, plus try your hand at “running” our model racecourse!

Enjoy interpretations with Museum staff and volunteers, guest speakers, and all the human biology-related exhibits in our permanent exhibit Hall of Human Life. Part of the Cambridge Science Festival.
