Museum of Science Employees Recommend Their Favorite Science Books to Keep You Entertained All Summer Long

BOSTON (July 11, 2019) - This summer, staff at the Museum of Science are sharing their favorite science books, perfect for reading by the beach, on the train, or anywhere you enjoy a good page turner. This diverse selection of books from staff across the Museum includes recommendations from sci-fi to young adult to biographies and more.

“For many, summer is the best time to get lost in a great page turner and this list is full of amazing stories sure to keep you enthralled,” said Katie Slivensky, School and Youth Programs Coordinator at the Museum of Science and author of The Countdown Conspiracy.  “I typically seek out science reads that engage me with an interesting voice or style, and also provoke thinking about topics I might not be immediately familiar with.”

For readers seeking more community involvement with their science reads, the Museum of Science hosts the Book Club for the Curious the second Thursday of each month all year long. Find out more about the book club and the books they read together here: https://www.mos.org/public-events/book-club-for-the-curious.
