Pi Day 2018

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Pi Day with the Museum of Science! From our pie-toss throwers at City Hall Plaza, to our Yogi’s who watched the sunrise with us, to everyone who visited our exhibits yesterday and made a donation – we had a really great day. See you on Tau day!

Join Museum educators for a museumwide celebration of Pi Day this year! Participate in drop-in, hands-on activities, earn passport stamps and prizes, and explore math-related fun throughout the Exhibit Halls, as well as other special events listed below. Check out offerings in the Suit/Cabot Lab, Hall of Human Life, A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature, the Gordon Current Science & Technology Center, and throughout the Museum.

Also consider taking part in our fundraising challenge! With over 1.4 million visitors to the Museum of Science every year, we offer guests the chance to make life-changing discoveries. However, continuing this success is only possible with individual support. If we receive 3,141 contributions by midnight on Pi Day, a gift of $250,000 will be unlocked for the Museum.

Join us on (or before) March 14 and buy the Museum a slice of Pi or two. Together, we can make significant changes in the world of STEM education and inspire future generations of learners. #givepi
