Join master model maker John Goodson in the Mugar Omni Theater for a special conversation looking at his iconic career in film and television! Known for his legendary work in classic series like Star Wars, Back to the Future, Transformers, and The Avengers, as well as films like Galaxy Quest, Aquaman, Pacific Rim, The Polar Express, and more, Goodson’s work has inspired nostalgia, wonder, and imagination in audiences all over the world for more than three decades. Currently, you can see his work on the smash-hit series The Mandalorian, which fuses together the mediums of physical miniatures and digital modeling in revolutionary new ways.

Don’t miss this special, exclusive evening with Goodson, joined in conversation by Mike Horvath, Senior Director of Exhibits at the Museum, to hear firsthand the incredible stories behind the films you love. They’ll explore Goodson’s process, creativity, and expertise that spans the industry’s evolution from models to digital and back again, all through the lens of his extraordinary career.
