Member Preview May 13 | Opens to the Public May 14

Mazes & Brain Games, the newest temporary exhibition at the Museum of Science, propels visitors of all ages down paths of mind-bending illusions, 3-D puzzles, and kinetic play—revealing the fascinating capabilities of the human brain.

With more than 60 activities, this expansive exhibit features mazes of all kinds, such as 3-D and make-your-own. Each dynamic, self-contained environment is designed to stretch your observational, logical, and improvisational abilities. Get lost in a network of primary color, run a marathon with your fingers, or traverse an intricate rope matrix without getting tangled up. Test your perceptions by tackling the exhibit’s Maze of Illusions with surprises around nearly every corner for you to conquer.

For a viewing experience that’s anything but stuffy, step into the David Anson Russo Fine Art Gallery. These large-scale works of art not only explode with color and devious detail, but each is a solvable maze. Challenge your eyes to trace a path through each perplexing masterpiece.

From piecing together puzzles and devouring tomes in the Labyrinthian Library, to knitting together a trail in a web of confusion and assembling an oversized Tower of Hanoi, you’ll utilize a plethora of problem-solving methods throughout this energetic exhibit.

Come challenge the relationship between the mind and the eye in this richly interactive experience!
For all ages, including adults.
