At this time, Drop In Activities are restricted under the Massachusetts Reopening Guidelines until Step 2 of Phase 3. Educators will be present on the Museum floor assisting guests and continuing presentations live on MOS at Home. Please check back for updates.
Did you know that the Museum offers our starry-eyed public free evenings full of astronomy-themed fun? On Friday nights from April to October, the Astronomy After Hours team hosts a variety of hands-on astronomy and space science activities. When weather allows we'll have small telescopes available for a hands-on experience, and visitors will have the opportunity to view the evening’s featured astronomical objects through the museum’s 6” and 12” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.
Please check back in March for details of our 2020 program!
This program is free to the public thanks to the generous support of the Lowell Institute.
