Get Involved
On Monday, July 12, 2010, put the fun into your fundraising and the extreme into your sport by joining us for the fourth annual Washburn Climb, hiking Mount Washington to benefit the Museum of Science, Boston.
In addition to the traditional double climb, in which climbers scale the mountain twice in one day, we also offer a single climb, allowing less experienced hikers to embark on one ascent and descent. Each climb represents a fundraising goal of $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. The starting point for all climbers is the Ammonoosuc Ravine trailhead in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire.
Interested in joining the climb? Please register and begin your training schedule early. You can also check out a suggested equipment list as you prepare your pack.
If you are unable to climb this year, please consider sponsoring one of our extreme hikers, and thank you!
