Washburn Pavilion

Existing before the Museum itself, this open-air pavilion is the only function facility located directly on the Charles River. Just steps from the water, it offers refreshing breezes, cooling shade trees, and wonderful views toward the Longfellow Bridge. Guests can sip cocktails alfresco, dine under a protective tent, or stand at the water's edge and wave to a passing Duck Tour boat. For a perfect outdoor touch, menu options include lobster dinners, clambakes, barbecues, and other summertime selections.
