Description

Observe how atmospheric phenomena interact with each other to create the weather we experience every day. Students watch a hot air balloon launch toward the ceiling, pressurize a tank to create enough wind to power a cannon, and see a cloud form before their eyes.

Capacity: 6 classes (150 students) per presentation; 1 - 2 presentations per day. Requirements: Gym, auditorium, cafeteria, or other large, assembly-appropriate space. Fee: $450 for 1 presentation; $300 for an additional presentation. Travel fees apply for sites more than 30 miles from the Museum. Reservation: Required.
