The Innovators

The Future of the Museum of Science

The Innovators are a dedicated group of philanthropic young professionals (up to age 45) who enjoy being on the cutting edge of science and technology. Through the Museum of Science, they have unparalleled access to pioneering initiatives in these areas. The Innovators' excitement for the Museum's mission to become the science and technology center of the 21st century represents their potential key role as the next generation of leadership support. Innovators become connected to the organization in a programmatic sense through events, in an operational context via networking with Board members and other volunteers, and in a very personal way by developing their own philanthropic support for the Museum. Innovators are truly "the future of the Museum of Science."

In addition to private events showcasing new technologies, the Innovators are invited to unique social and networking gatherings with other like-minded professionals. Beyond viewing new exhibits, the four annual Innovators events are designed to further an understanding of the myriad activities of the Museum of Science and its complex and important role both locally and nationally. By harnessing the enthusiasm of our younger members such as the Innovators, the Museum is able to advance its strategic plan and develop creative new learning opportunities for all visitors.
