Sr. Curriculum/Professional Development Assistant II

Description

The Senior Curriculum/Professional Development Assistant II will work with other curriculum and professional development personnel to develop curricular resources, to oversee organization and logistical aspects of pilot and field testing of the materials, and will help with implementation and data collection. S/he will create high-quality products (curriculum, print and other media). S/he will also contribute to the development of professional development resources and support professional development workshops and outreach events. S/he is expected to generate new ideas for resources, offer professional development sessions, and help with research and evaluation efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree a minimum.
  • More than one year of curriculum development experience.
  • An interest in or experience with K-12 education, children, and/or teaching preferred.
  • Experience or interest in communicating science and engineering concepts.

Work Schedule

This position is grant-funded, full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Salary

Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
