After five amazing years of brokering and facilitating educational programs in astronomy and space science, the New England Space Science Initiative in Education (NESSIE) has shut down its operations. NASA-funded scientists wishing to get involved in education and public outreach are encouraged to explore the wealth of information provided by NASA's Science Mission Directorate at http://science.hq.nasa.gov/education/ .
