Sr. HVAC Mechanical Systems Technician
Description
Assists with the mechanical maintenance operations of the Facilities Department including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous maintenance services. Responsible for preventative maintenance programs and other routing or emergency maintenance operations as assigned by Mechanical Systems Supervisor, Manager of Facilities, or the Facilities Office. Oversees outside contractors and fill in for Mechanical Supervisor in the supervisor's absence.
Responsibilities
- 750,000 sq. ft. of property.
- Occasionally supervises and advises several contractors.
- Occasionally oversees up to 4 people.
- Works several projects simultaneously.
- Works varying shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post high school course work, such as or including a technical degree, associate's degree, business certificate, apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience. Formal training in maintenance of building HVAC equipment and control systems.
- Refrigeration license required.

Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
