Description

In 2008, a 9-year-old boy discovered the fossilized remains of a 2-million-year-old human ancestor (Australopithecus sediba) in a cave in South Africa. Jeremy DeSilva of Boston University will share his research on these ancient humans and what they reveal about us. Hands-on engaging activities on evolution will be available throughout the Museum.

Funding is provided for Massachusetts schools by the Lowell Institute.
