Travel to the farthest reaches of our universe — and back in time, to the beginning of it all. This Planetarium show examines our efforts to understand the cosmos, and it shows how ideas that were once considered wild are now the building blocks of new knowledge.

See how Einstein's idea that stars could collapse into distorted curves in space — considered fantastic in 1916 — is now commonly accepted as the concept behind black holes. Learn about astronomer Edwin Hubble who in 1929 observed distant galaxies rushing away from the Milky Way, leading to the discovery that the universe is expanding.

A century ago, who could have imagined how our view of the universe would be transformed? As this century's missions begin the next phase of exploration, who can imagine what we will find?
