Part of the Museum's Gordon Current Science and Technology program, this website offers hands-on opportunities to explore the science of the Antarctica expedition to collect ice cores from across the continent.
From 1999 to 2002, this site tracked the progress of an International Trans-Antarctic Scientific Expedition team working on the West Antarctic ice sheet. The ice core samples they collected reveal how humans have impacted climate changes over the past 200 years.
