Scientists from Australia are using tiny drug delivery packages derived from Salmonella to destroy cancer cells in mice. The packages deliver anti-cancer drugs directly to cancer cells, and have shown promising results in eliminating even drug-resistant cancers. Clinical trials are set to begin next month in Australia.
