A World of Bridges: An Engineering Tale
Traveling Program [Return to listing page]
Travel all over the world and throughout history with this interactive engineering adventure.
In a read-aloud story, we meet best friends Alicia and Miguel as they try to build a bridge across the stream separating their homes. The audience helps solve their problem with a hands-on engineering activity, and learns how other cultures have faced similar building challenges.
For the grand finale, the group constructs and walks across a giant Roman arch bridge.
