Travels in Space and Time / Lives of the Stars (122 min. Cosmos) Carl Sagan is back again for parts 8 and 9 of the Cosmos series. In part 8, he shows viewers how star patterns change over millions of years and then takes us on a journey to planets of other stars. Sagan also explores time travel. Part 9 uses computer animation and amazing astronomical art to create the life span of stars. Then viewers take a journey into the future to see the "last perfect day on Earth."
