Radiolab Listening Party
Lecture [Return to listing page]
with Jad Abumrad, Radiolab host and producer. This presentation is part of the ongoing series When Science Meets Art.
Radiolab creator Jad Abumrad shares behind-the-scenes stories and excerpts from the program called "the most innovative show on radio" by public radio's Ira Glass. Tonight's focus: our endless fascination with outer space. Listen to surprising sounds and look up at the simulated sky as you are transported to the zone of speculative wonder that has made Radiolab such a cult hit. Produced since 2005 by WNYC and winner of the National Academies 2007 Communication Award for excellence in science communication, Radiolab now plays on more than 150 stations nationwide.
