Courses for children and adults



Science for Life

The Museum offers courses for children, families, and scout groups, and it offers workshops for adults. Spark a new perspective or peak an interest in science and technology by taking a course or a workshop with enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors.

Adult Workshops

On select weeknights and weekends, adult learners can collaborate with science-minded peers in workshops aided by knowledgeable science professionals. Engage in discovery and dialogue and connect with others who enjoy stimulating conversations on the issues of the day. Adult Workshops at the Museum of Science focus on various current and cutting edge-science topics and offer an opportunity for participatory learning and lively discussion.

Courses for Children and Families

Summer Program
Assemble your own camp program with morning, afternoon, and full-day weekly programs, available June 30 - August 15. With more than 80 courses to choose from, Museum summer courses offer something for every aspiring scientist, engineer, and technologist. Discover how we make serious learning fun.

School Year Weekend Courses
From September through June, weekend workshops and courses for children and families provide learning opportunities for science, engineering, and technology.

Vacation Week Courses
Museum programs for February and April school vacation weeks are available for week-long, in-depth explorations. A variety of programs are available during the week for grades 1 - 9.

    Special Opportunity from Microsoft's Young Innovators Scholarships:
  • Scholarship aid is available for 75 - 90% of tuition, targeting children and youth who would otherwise lack the resources to participate in the Museum's summer program.
