EiE Presents Four New Units
Join the Engineering is Elementary team as we present four new units available fall 2007:
>A Work in Process: Designing a Play Dough Process (solids & liquids, chemical engineering)
>A Stick in the Mud: Evaluating a Landscape (landforms, geotechnical engineering)
>Thinking Inside the Box: Designing a Plant Package (plants, package engineering)
>The Attraction is Obvious: Designing a Maglev System (magnetism, transportation engineering)
In addition to developing a stronger understanding of engineering and technology, participants will be able to explore engineering activities and science connections from two of the new units.
