A Regional Tour of Free Workshops for Elementary Educators

Presented by the Museum of Science National Center for Technological Literacy, this regional tour of free workshops for elementary educators (grades 1 -5) offers curriculum support for new challenges and information on meeting Massachusetts science and engineering/technology standards.

Elementary (Teachers of Grades 1 - 5) Program: Exploring Engineering with Engineering is Elementary (EiE)

Develop your own understandings of engineering and technology, and how to integrate these topics into your already full curriculum.

Explore engineering activities and science tie-ins from an EiE unit.

Receive a complimentary EiE teacher guide ($40 value) and Certificate of Attendance.

Check out a workshop near you! Each workshop takes place on a Saturday morning.

A concurrent program for high school teachers featuring the Museum of Science high school course, Engineering the Future, will also run.

A concurrent program for high school teachers featuring the Museum of Science high school course, Engineering the Future, will also run.

Also, a free afternoon add-on program (1:15 - 3:00 p.m.) titled Everyone Does Math! will be offered by Wellesley College faculty.
