What are some of the most critical issues in human health today? Guest scientists explain their areas of expertise in discussing key health problems. Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings in the Gordon Current Science & Technology Center to watch a live broadcast on New England Cable News. Then at 10:00 a.m. hear a special research presentation by a scientist.
November 5: Dr. Aaron Baggish from Massachusetts General Hospital discusses the impact of exercise on our hearts and describes his own research on screening for heart disease in athletes.
November 12: Dr. Lisa Freeman from Tufts University describes how studying obesity in pets helps us learn more about the condition in humans.
November 19: Hear Dr. Anita Loughlin from the Center for Vaccine Research at Boston University bust myths surrounding vaccines. Find out how a vaccine works and why you should be up to date with your vaccinations.
