Live Animal Exhibit
Visit this viewing area for a peek at some of the stars of the Museum's Live Animal presentations. Located in the Red Wing, Lower Level, the Live Animal Center is home to approximately 120 animals representing more than 50 species. Although the center itself is closed to the public, this large window offers an up-close view of what goes on inside.
The area features information about the animals on view, the different types of food they eat, and the various living environments that they require. Learn about the animals' caretakers, and find out what it means for the Museum to be accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
