Electromagnetism

Using high-tech Museum equipment, students explore voltage, current, resistance, and the interrelationship between magnetism and electricity. They'll see someone's hair stand on end, create a human extension cord and send an electric current through several people, and shoot a metal ring to the ceiling of their school using electricity and magnetism.

Capacity: 8 classes (200 students) per presentation; 1 to 2 presentations per day.

Schedule: Available during school hours, Monday - Friday.

Space / Special Requirements: Gym / auditorium / cafeteria or other assembly-appropriate space.
